An effort called UPG Sustainability Leadership encourages individuals and groups to support effective citizen leadership on sustainability. This movement espouses the notion that everyone can help make the world a more sustainable environment.

UPG follows the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) established by the UN, for those who are familiar with them. Every year, more than 500 young adults from around the world participate in the program’s signature activity, the #UPGSustainability Leadership training program. - Applications for the UPG program must be submitted online.
- An exceptional personal statement must be submitted by applicants.
